My mission is to save the feral cats of Tracy.
Every Dollar Counts
It is my mission to continue saving the feral cats otherwise known as stray cats at the Tracy animal shelter. It is also my passion to TNR (trap, neuter and return) as many cats in business parking lots as possible. These are the forgotten ones; however, they all have caretakers. The caretakers provide food and water; however, they need assistance with spay and neuter. What we don't do is we don't do adoptions, we don't foster, we don't take your cats that you feed, we don't relocate a stray or feral cat unless in an extreme case it has become a danger.
What we do is educate our community in spay and neuter and the proper way to trap a feral cat. We also educate in the proper way to feed a feral or stray cat. A stray or feral cat can make great pets. They can provide love and comfort in keeping rodents under control. Best of all you can save their life by spaying and neutering them to keep the population down.

Prior to September 2017, the Tracy Animal Shelter was euthanizing 100% feral cats or stray cats that are not adoptable.
I have rescued several friendly cats from Tracy Shelter I am partnering with surrounding rescues so they can be adopted and have furrever homes.

Thank you Marie
We at Saving Ferals are deeply grateful for the recent donation we received from the estate of Marie-Jose Grysole. Her kindness and compassion towards stray cats will not be forgotten, and we are honored to carry on her legacy by continuing our work to feed, spay/neuter, of community cats.
Marie's generosity is a reminder that we can all make a difference in the lives of animals in need, and we encourage everyone to consider supporting organizations that are working to improve the welfare of animals in their communities. Every little bit helps, whether it's a donation of time, money, or resources. Thank you, Marie, for your unwavering dedication to the welfare of stray cats, and thank you to all of our supporters who help make our work possible. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact in the lives of animals who need it most. |
A special THANK YOU to MADDIE'S FUND for a $5,000 grant for Targeting TNR in the city of Tracy.
This was an amazing mission where we spayed and neutered over 100 community cats. In our mission we are proud to welcome new volunteers to our TNR program at parking lots in Tracy.
Since 2015, I have been rescuing feral cats in Tracy. With the help of my neighbors, we have trapped and spayed/neutered several cats and returned them to their original location. We have also transferred out cats and kittens to other rescues and they have been adopted out to wonderful homes. In 2017, I hope to save feral cats from euthanasia in our shelter. Thank you for your help.
